Cyber Focus Week (CFW) 2025 
Theme: Ethical Considerations in AI and Quantum-Driven Cybersecurity 

Overview:  
Join the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) – Colorado Springs (COS) Chapter for the 12th Annual Cyber Focus Week (CFW), taking place from Tuesday, March 25, to Thursday, March 27, 2025. ISSA-COS, comprising approximately 350 cybersecurity professionals from Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas, is proud to host this premier event. 

The 12th Annual CFW is designed to provide ISSA-COS members, U.S. federal government employees, military personnel, defense contractors, academia, and industry professionals from Colorado Springs and the Front Range region with valuable learning and networking opportunities. Highlights of the event include: 

Educational Sessions: Expert-led presentations covering a broad range of cybersecurity topics. Scheduled speakers include: 

  • Dr. Shawn P. Murray, President - Murray Security Services
  • Ron Keen, Senior Advisor – Space, National Risk Management Center, CISA 
  • Dr. Erik Huffman, Cyberpsychologist  
  • U.S. Secret Service Panel Discussion on Cybercrime Trends 
  • OWASP Colorado Springs Chapter Presentation 
  • ISC2 Pikes Peak Chapter Presentation
  • Industry Tours: Visits to local cybersecurity-focused businesses. Tour locations include: 
  • Space ISAC 
  • AMNET, Inc. 
  • Hands-On Activities: Engage in interactive experiences, such as Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges. 
  • Career Fair: Connect with potential employers and explore career opportunities. 
  • Cleared Career Hiring Event 
  • Sponsor Exhibit Area: Explore exhibits showcasing the latest tools, technologies, and services in cybersecurity. 

We anticipate over 200 attendees joining us for this in-person event, which is free and open to the public. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, network, and engage with leaders in the cybersecurity community.

Locations 

The ISSA-COS Cyber Focus Week (CFW) presentations, sponsor exhibits, and career fair will be held at UCCS Berger Hall, located on the 2nd floor of the UCCS Pedestrian Spine at 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. 

Industry tours will be conducted at various locations throughout the city of Colorado Springs. 

Hands-on activities will take place at the Kevin W. O’Neill Cybersecurity Education and Research Center, situated at 3650 North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO.
